Our pastor is the Rev. Vernon J. Sansom, Jr. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Bethel College
and a Master of Divinity from Memphis Theological Seminary.

 

His previous pastorates were at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Oak Ridge, Tennessee, Trinity Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Ft. Worth, Texas, Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Ovilla, Texas, and Bolivar Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Bolivar, Tennessee. He has also served on the staffs of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, McKenzie, Tennessee
and Elmira Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Longview, Texas.

 

Rev. Sansom served as a Chaplain for the Oak Ridge Police Department
and has earned Basic Certification through the International Conference of Police Chaplains.

 

Vernon's wife, Tina, is a Registered Nurse. They have three grown children and one grandson.
